PEANUT BUTTER PANCAKES

Simple, fluffy, delicious pancakes. Upgraded with Chunky Dave’s, drizzled in a liquid-gold Peanut Maple Syrup. Vegan friendly.

Best enjoyed with fruit, ice cream, and a loved one.

PANCAKE INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

1/2 cup Chunky Dave’s Peanut Butter (Chunky, Smooth or Chilli if you’re daring)

1 3/4 cup milk of choice

3 tbsp maple syrup 

1 tsp vanilla extract

 oil or butter for frying

SYRUP INGREDIENTS

2 tbs maple syrup 

1/4 cup Chunky Dave’s Peanut Butter

Sliced banana/berries (optional)

Ice cream (optional)

METHOD

Whisk together dry ingredients

Whisk together wet ingredients.

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, and stir til combines. Set aside for 10 minutes (this is the secret to fluffy pancakes).

Heat frypan on medium heat with a little butter or oil.

Cook each pancake for 3-5 minutes each. 

SERVING

For the Peanut Maple Syrup, simply whisk the two ingredients together, and pour over pancake stack in generous portions.

Serve with fruit, berries and ice cream to your hearts content.
